Inverter heat pumps are far more efficient than standard heat pumps and have a higher coefficient of performance (COP) meaning that they generate more heating for every Kw they consume than a standard heat pump does. Under ideal conditions the Indiana heat pumps can reach a COP of 15 which means that for every 1kw of electricity that it consumes it generates 15kws of heating to the pool water. The Indiana heat pumps are extremely quiet and are designed to maintain the pool temperature for 95% of the pool season while only running at 50% capacity in order to provide the best energy saving performance.
